Samrana’s letter was a real treat - she wrote 11 pages (back&forth), which I really enjoyed reading. And isn’t the stationery she used adorable? I also absolutely loved the envelopes and cut-outs she sent together with the letter.

Paul Mccartney sent Ringo Starr a postcard on January 31st 1969 (the day after the band’s performance on the roof of Apple Studios) saying: “You are the greatest drummer in the world. Really.”

So this weeks mail was a bit of a surprise…first I received this filled envelope from Canada; Apparently Suzanne found my profile on sendsomething.net and decided to send me something. So nice of her! She said I didn’t have to send anything back, but I’m going to put something together for her anyway.
